The data given under this directory belongs to our work 'A Multi-Compartment Vehicle Routing Problem with Loading and Unloading Costs' (Hübner & Ostermeier 2016)

The folder structure equals the structure of tests in the paper and the single files are named according to the following notation:

400c: number of customers
800o: number of orders
7tu: average order size (here: 7 transportation units)
4s: number of product segments

For the experiments on the effects of loading & unloading costs, additionally the according name of the test is indicated, e.g., 199n_400o_7tu_3s (TestA.1).

Instance data involves the list of orders as well as the underlying distances between customers (distance matrix)

Solution data involves the build tours in the best overall solution as well as the corresponding solution value (total costs)
